The Nagai Botanical Garden offers a good opportunity to appreciate beautiful lotus flowers that bloom very early in the morning. The garden opens at 7:30 a.m. every day during the “LOTUS WEEK”. (Two hours earlier than regular opening time)

On the last two days of the Lotus Week, the garden will hold a special event, “LOTUS FESTIVAL“.

* Regular Opening Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
(Last admission is 4:30 p.m.)
* Closing day in July: Mon. 2, Tue. 17, Mon. 23, Mon. 30
* Admission fee: adults 200 yen

LOTUS FESTIVAL
Sunday, July 15 & Monday, July 16, 2018 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
* Admission fee: adults 200 yen
- “Zou-Bi-Hai” (Drink Japanese Sake or juice through a fresh lotus leave / 100 yen)
- “Make a paper fan” (Draw or paint lotus flowers onto a paper fan / 150 yen)
